Sometimes you need to manually tell Windows Vista to open a specific file with a certain program. Here’s how:
  • Go to the start button on the bottom left corner. Then choose Control Panel
  • Double click on Associate a file or protocol with a program as in the screenshot below.

Then you highlight or make blue your selection, then press Change Program

The next window will appear and here you can choose which program you want to have open your file.
