That doesn’t mean you need to compromise on quality or features as Nokia has made sure this entry-level number offers the best of everything. Check out our Nokia Lumia 620 in review 2013 to find out how it unfolded.
The Nokia Lumia 620 kicks off the year in fine style, offering one of the freshest and brightest looking entry-level smartphone looks around. Pushing innovation in design, Nokia created a smartphone with a dual-colour shell that is interchangeable.
It’s based around a 3.8-inch TFT display with 800 x 480-pixel resolution that comes with Nokia ClearBlack technology, so you’ll get a great user experience both indoors and out.
In terms of tech spec, the Nokia Lumia 620 measures 115.4 x 61.1 x 11.02mm and weighs in at a highly portable 127g. It runs on a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and is backed by 512MB of RAM. One of the most appealing features of the Nokia Lumia 620 has to be the wealth of colours that are on offer, from matt finishes such as yellow, white and cyan, to the dual-shot orange/yellow or lime green/yellow finishes that add a brand new level of personalisation.
Here we look back at the Nokia Lumia 620 in review 2013.

Nokia Lumia 620 budget Windows Phone 8 smartphone: what you need to know

Nokia announced the Nokia Lumia 620 back in December 20102 as the most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone to-date. With a 3.8-inch screen and startling dual-layered shell, this handset was set to brighten your world.

Nokia Head of Design talks shape and colour of Nokia Lumia 620

Marko Ahtisaari, Nokia Executive Vice President of Design, introduced the Nokia Lumia 620 at the Le Web 2012 in Paris, France. He spoke about his admiration for Finish architect Alvar Aalto and the idea of ‘a gentler design to life’. This means focussing on the things people routinely do maybe 50 or 100 times a day and make them better, rather than focussing on things that don’t really matter.

Nokia Lumia 620 hands-on roundup:

Tech journos may not have been out in force at the Le Web 12 conference in Paris when the Nokia Lumia 620 was launched but there were sufficient numbers for Nokia to offer them a Nokia Lumia 620 hands-on. Here we take a look at what they had to say.

Best video Nokia Lumia 620 hands-on reviews
In this modern age you can’t expect mobile journos to just want to take a few photos of a smartphone as good looking at the Nokia Lumia 620, which is why video hands-on are a growing trend.

Nokia Music, Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot in action

Nokia UK put together a great collection of videos that show-case an array of features you’ll find on all Nokia Lumia Windows Phone smartphones. What we like most about these videos is that we get a great insight in to how the Nokia Lumia 620 looks and acts.

Lime Green is the favourite colour of Nokia Lumia 620

Before the Nokia Lumia 620 went on sale in February, the big talk was all about the amazing array of colours that were being offered. The dual-shot covers haven’t been matched by any other manufacturer and it was the Lime Green shell that truly caught the imagination of most users.

First Nokia Lumia 620 unboxing reviews appear
Dialphone was the first phone reseller to give the Nokia Lumia 620 an unboxing and hands-on review. Giving the phone a 3.5 out of 5, it summed it up thus: ‘Nokia’s Lumia 620 is a great budget handset which brings excellent software and  hardware at a very low price. This device runs the same version of Windows Phone as the high-end Lumia 920, something which is unlikely to occur with  platforms such as Android, and anyone looking to acquire a cut-price handsets running Google’s OS would be wise to consider Nokia’s new device.’

Nokia Lumia 620 hands-on: Camera and Video

We managed to get our hands on the phone at the start of February and one of the things we wanted to test out was the camera and video. The Nokia Lumia 620 comes with a 5-Megapixel camera that is capable of handling 720p video capture at up to 30 fps (frames per second).

Nokia Lumia 620 hands-on and unboxing

What really struck us about the design of the Nokia Lumia 620 is that while the 3.8-inch screen offers more space that that of the Nokia Lumia 800, the phone is actually smaller and more compact! The curved body of the shell gives it an amazing feel in the hand and everyone we’ve shown it to has commented on how good it feels resting in the palm of your hand.
