A transparent tablet might have sounded like coming from “futuristic science fiction” film but it is easy to believe now considering the amount of changes happening in the world.

It is no longer before the translucent tablets are launched in the market. This would be the first of the tablet of its kind to feature in the industry. It is claimed that “Grippity” will be the first tablet in the world to have the feature of being looked through both sides. It will possess dual touch controls.  The spectators were taken by a surprise when this announcement was made in the KickStarter campaign. It was also declared that the tablet will be coming any time by the next fall. Grippity is the most anticipated tablet in the market considering its unique structure and also its features.

Some of the features of this tablet set it apart from the others in the market. It is supposed to possess a 7 inch (800*480 pixels) display screen with both the rear and the front part of the tablet supporting gestures from the user. It will run on Cortex A8 processor and based on the OS, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It will also possess a storage space of 4GB which will be available inside the SD card slow. It can be increased up to 32 GB. It gives support to both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The IR blaster gives this tablet a slightly upward touch.

The most parts of the tablet will be semi-transparent and the user could hold this tablet slate with the help of thumb. Grippity is a brand that has been created by Jacob Eichbaum and he has reported that the tablet will possess a translucent display which will enhance the capability of users to type on the touch screen keypad. The basic concept behind having a translucent tablet is that the user will now be able to use 10 fingers for typing instead of just two. This will be facilitated by the dual approach of the tablet, from front as well as from the rear. This was revealed in the promotional video released by Jacob Eichbaum. The company is now working on the promotion and marketing of this magnificent tablet.

The rear controls of the tablets are designed in such a way that the user can utilize them for working as well. The concept behind having a rear panel for typing is that the user does not obstruct the display while writing off something or pressing the buttons. It will in a way make it easier for the user to spot small objects on the screen and not obstructing their display due to fingers.

There is no official statement from the company about the launch and price of the tablet. However, in an interview, the owner of the company has stated that 235 USD is kept as a reserve rate for delivery by October 24. The people who order the tablet as an early bird can avail huge discounts by the company. They will have to pay a nominal amount of 159 USD. 397 of the 500 limited edition tablets of Grippity have already been booked or sold out.

The concept of the Grippity tablet is entirely new and the market is welcoming it with wide open arms. There are no doubts in claiming it as one of the most anticipated tablets of the year 2014.
